EnergyVision wins Wikipower group purchase in both Wallonia and Flanders

18.03.2026

GHENT – EnergyVision is taking a new step in its national growth story by winning the group purchasing contracts of Wikipower in Wallonia and Flanders. The Ghent-based energy company secured all lots in Wallonia (fixed and variable) and was selected in Flanders for electricity and gas under fixed contracts. This strengthens EnergyVision’s presence, with an estimated 15,000 additional connection points.

In total, 23,000 households registered for the group purchase, representing around 38,000 connection points. In Wallonia, EnergyVision emerged as the winner for both fixed and variable rates, while in Flanders it was selected for fixed electricity and gas contracts. Registration for the group purchase remains open until March 31. Energy supply will begin from June onward.

EnergyVision began its activities in Wallonia steadily in the autumn of 2025, but with this group purchase it is significantly accelerating its growth in the region. “We can now also introduce Walloon customers to our stable prices. Indeed, crisis or not, our prices remain competitive, and thanks to our business model we remain profitable: whether or not Trump invades Iran, our solar panels and wind turbines are unaffected, so our prices remain the same as before the crisis,” says Maarten Michielssens, CEO of EnergyVision.

Group purchase remain an important instrument to help households find a competitive energy contract. With this expansion in Wallonia, EnergyVision is also taking another step in its ambition to grow further as a national player and to bring as many people as possible along in the energy transition.
